Audit Senior required who has their Honours Degree, completed SAICA Articles, drivers license and own vehicle, and excellent communication skills and technical abilities (IFRS, IFRS for SME's, Companies Act, International Standards of Auditing, etc.) Duties will include setting of audit plan, reviewing audit files, review and completion of tax returns, client’s interaction and staff supervision, in addition to monitoring audit budgets and quotations.
Position available to start immediately on a temporary basis while the recruit to fill the permanent position (the temp may apply for the permanent position). Applicants should have their matric and ideally a related qualification, and must have proven Creditors experience in a large company, preferably manufacturing. The position involves extremely high volumes of recons and is a high pressure role (+-200 recons/months). This full function creditors role involves monthly recons, payment forecasts, liaison with suppliers, procurement team and other company stakeholders; and the supervision of two subordinates (Junior Clerk and Learner).
Waterfall company are recruiting for a trial balance bookkeeper who has worked on Sage or a similar accounting system such as Xero. The successful applicant should live in the surrounding/ Upper Highway Area, have their own transport, ideally a related qualification and at least 3 years of experience as a bookkeeper to trial balance, working unsupervised. Duties will include the full bookkeeping function from processing the source documents, reconciliations, journals, preparing the payroll for the external accountants, and any other accounting or admin tasks the external accountants or director require.
