Maintenance Manager- Port Shepstone, KZN South Coast

KZN South Coast abattoir is recruiting for a Maintenance Manager who will be responsible for the management of their maintenance team of artisans to ensure that their plant is maintained to optimal standards, coordinating the workload between the maintenance departments- ammonia refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and boilermaking.  The primary focus will be planning, implementation, and timely completion of jobs and minor projects, ensuring that plant and equipment efficiency is optimized and downtime minimized at all times.  Applicants should be Trade Tested Millwrights with their Wireman’s License and at least 5 years of experience in a similar position, strong maths and organizational skills (budgets, schedules, etc), and preference will be given to candidates who have experience working in an abattoir and with ammonia refrigeration.
