Laboratory Manager- Hillcrest, KZN- R35-45000 neg

Laboratory Manager required in the Lubricants, Wax, and Oil Industry.  The successful applicant should have at their BSc, BTech, or Chemical Engineering degree, and at least 3-5 years experience as a Lab Manager.  Core duties will be to ensure lab technicians follow industry standards and safety regulations for handling and disposing of test samples, and coordinate analysis activities, provide technical support, and oversee staff to ensure the analytical and technical parameter of company products and raw materials are within specification.  This will be achieved through implementing new technology, quality standards, training & leadership of staff, and R&D including attending supplier seminars and staying up to date with the latest industry developments.  Preference will be given to applicants that are available to start immediately (for a December handover), and have industry-specific experience.
