Hillcrest Accounting Firm is recruiting for a junior and a senior accountant to join their team. The junior candidate can be qualified by experience in an accounting firm or studying towards a qualification, but the more senior position of Accountant & Client Relationship Manager, will only consider applicants who have an Undergrad qualification, ideally is a Professional Accountant (SAICA/SAIPA) and at least 3 – 5 years working experiences in an accounting firm environment, management of client portfolio. Duties will include full monthly accounting including, preparation of Management Accounts/reporting, Review and sign-off of payroll processing & PAYE submissions (senior position) and VAT calcs, recons & Submissions (senior position). Applicants should have an understanding of income taxes and different tax types (junior role) and be experienced in the preparation of Personal and Business Income tax calculations and submissions (senior role). Experience on Xero, Pastel, Pastel Payroll and CaseWare an advantage.
