After matriculating from a top private school, Alison went on to study her Bachelor of Accounting Science (BCompt) Cum Laude, as the top achiever in each year of her degree, and then completed Honours and registered as a Chartered Accountant, passing all of her exams first time. After completing articles she secured a position as a Group Financial Manager with a Group that owned farms, properties, manufacturing concerns, and retail. Her duties included management of off-shore companies, forex, financial analysis and general accounting, and preparation of the Annual Financial Reports. She resigned to relocate back to the Durban Area and is keen to secure a position in a medium-sized business where she can be hands-on with the accounts and be involved with making business decisions.
