Port Shepstone FMCG company is recruiting for a Food Technologist to join their team, who has experience in product development, quality assurance, and food safety standards within the food manufacturing industry. National Diploma or Degree in Food Technology or Food Science. Applicants should have a related qualification, minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within the food industry, be computer literate and able to communicate in isiZulu and/or isiXhosa, Experience in R&D and food labelling regulations is essential. Duties will include training staff, translating between management and staff if needed, new product development and trials, costings for new products, recipe adherence, checking packaging complies with packaging legislation, and other related duties.
