A fast-paced manufacturing company has a vacancy for a Quality Controller. This position is based in Westmead, Pinetown. The Quality Controller will be responsible for ensuring that all footwear products meet the company’s quality standards and specifications before they reach the market. This role involves close collaboration with the production, design, and procurement teams to maintain and improve product quality. The successful incumbent will be responsible for overall quality control, testing and evaluation, improving processes, reporting and administration, and general training of staff. Applicants should have a related qualification and at least 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the footwear or apparel industry. Experience with ISO quality management systems, and certification in quality assurance or related fields (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma) an advantage.
