Raymond qualified as a Trade Tested Millwright in 2016, after serving in apprenticeship in the metal industry. Soon after qualifying, he joined an international company as a Millwright/ Metrologist, working on projects locally and internationally. As much as he enjoyed the position and all that he learnt in this role, in 2022 he decided to leave and focus on a position with less travel. He is currently working as a Service Technician for a company that imports and supplies equipment to the metal, automative and similar industries, doing site visits, trouble shooting, repairs and commissioning new equipment. He currently services the whole of KwaZulu Natal, and is looking for a position at one site, or with less travelling than he is currently doing. Raymond has strong communication skills, is passionate about his work, has worked on a variety of CAD Packages and has PLC Certification.
