Kevin is passionate about procurement and supply chain! Having completed his BCom degree in Supply Chain and Marketing full time through UKZN in 2015, he secured a position in general stock control and operations for a year, giving him a good foundation before accepting his next position in procurement. Kevin is currently a Raw Materials Buyer for a large manufacturing company, importing chemicals from Europe and other items from China; as well as sourcing various items locally. He has worked on Sage 300 (Accpac) but is currently working on JD Edwards, on which he monitors stock levels. He maintains the supplier data base, negotiates prices, sources new suppliers, deals with freight companies and follows up on shipments and is involved in R & D. Possibly the most noticeable aspect of Kevin’s application is his energy, charisma and can-do attitude!
