Tammy studied her BCompt after school, and then completed SAICA articles. She then worked as a bookkeeper/ creditors/ payroll administrator for 10 years, before leaving to start her own business 8 years ago, so that she would have the flexibility to be there for her children while they were in primary school. At the end of 2023, she sold her business and accepted a one-year contract, which ends in December 2024. For the 8 years she ran her own business, a franchise, she did the general accounts, social media marketing, managing part-time staff and client liaison. With her children almost finished school, she is looking to settle back into a full-time, office-based position. Although she has a solid financial background, which she enjoys, she feels that her personality is better suited to a people-facing role- dealing with sales administration, office management or as a Personal Assistant. Tammy has her own car, and is available immediately from January 2024.
