Trish holds a Bookkeeping Certificate and began her career as a Wages and Accounts Clerk. She quickly advanced to an Accounts Assistant role in the distribution, engineering, manufacturing, and repair sector, where she gained experience managing debtors, creditors, banking, petty cash, provident funds, and more. She then progressed to a Bookkeeping position, handling all aspects up to trial balance, vehicle and sales reporting, and additional HR tasks like managing leave and drafting contracts. She also managed payroll for 50-80 employees. For the past three years, Trish has run her own business to be able to spend more time with her children, while also providing bookkeeping support for her husband’s plumbing business in the evenings and on weekends. With extensive experience in the manufacturing and construction industries, she is highly computer literate and proficient in a range of software, including Sage Pastel Partner, AccPacc/Sage 300, Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Accounting, Sage Pastel Payroll, VIP Payroll, PayDay, and advanced Excel. Although she enjoys running her own business, she is seeking more consistent work and is ideally looking for a half-day role in the Upper Highway Area.
