Job Description
Leading Wholesaler to the Retail Industry are expanding their accounts department and recruiting for an Assistant to The Financial Manager to assist with producing accurate and timeous Management Reports, monitor financial transactions, and manage the accounts department. Duties will include producing the Income Statement and Balance sheet, to be analysed with footnotes, including notes to the Income Statements and Balance sheet; process Bank Statement and reconcile to General Ledger, and maintain the fixed asset register, and payroll reconciliations. Applicants should have experience checking reconciliations of all Ledger accounts in preparation for auditors, prepare VAT Documents and Audit Schedules for compilation by auditors, and close year end when AFS is finalized, among other reports and Statutory Return reports. Salary will be in line with experience, qualifications and hours worked. This position is strictly office based.
