Technical company in the water and wastewater treatment sector is seeking a Technical Sales Representative/ Engineer who will be responsible for generating leads, developing new business, managing clients and closing sales, as well as preparing proposals and quotations. Candidates must have an Analytical Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Degree/ Diploma, with a minimum of 2 years’ technical sales experience within the water and wastewater treatment industry. Experience with water treatment equipment and laboratory supplies will be advantageous. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be prepared to travel nationally and internationally at times.

Industrial tool concept store in Hillcrest is opening in November and seeking a Store Manager. Responsibilities include managing and training cashiers and sales staff, ensuring sales targets are met, cash and stock are reconciled daily, customers are given accurate product advice and a high standard of customer service is upheld. Duties include running the daily opening and closing procedure, daily cash-up and banking reconciliation, stock counts, receiving and replenishment, and ensuring stock is accurately recorded in the system. The successful candidate must have 3-5 years retail management experience, ideally in the hardware, building supplies or tool industry and have run a store or shift by procedure, and can train others to follow it. Experience working on Sage or a similar stock and accounting software is an advantage. A driver's licence and own transport is essential, and applicants must be available to start by mid-October, to be trained before store opening.
Property management and investment company are recruiting for an experienced Debtors Clerk who will be responsible for the full debtors’ function within the business. Duties include managing the debtors’ book from invoicing and payment allocations through to account reconciliations, following up on outstanding payments, handling debtor queries and resolving account discrepancies, as well as processing and managing insurance claims. Applicants must have Matric, and ideally a relevant accounting or finance qualification, together with 3–5 years’ experience managing the full debtors’ function.
