Our client in the Maxmead area are seeking a Receptionist/ Creditors Clerk to join their team to manage front-of-house operations and oversee supplier accounts. Duties will include managing the switchboard, general administration such as logging calls and compiling job cards, ordering materials and stationery, and following up on outstanding orders. The financial responsibilities include allocating invoices to specific project cost codes, preparing and processing supplier invoices for payment, and performing accurate monthly supplier reconciliations. Applicants must have experience in a similar position, be computer literate, and have excellent MS Excel skills.

Duties include managing the debtors’ book from invoicing and payment allocations through to account reconciliations, following up on outstanding payments, handling debtor queries and resolving account discrepancies, as well as processing and managing insurance claims. Applicants must have Matric, and ideally a relevant accounting or finance qualification, together with 3–5 years’ experience managing the full debtors’ function. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and their own vehicle and should ideally reside in Botha’s Hill or the surrounding Upper Highway areas.
